A Little Love Is All We Need
I shiver, I sweat, and I scream
I touch the sky and kiss the stream
I dream with my open eyes
Every time I fail, I do rise
As I bend down to tie my shoe lace
I am startled to see a body without a face
It speaks to me, I refuse to hear
I move away, and it comes near
The melting ice emits such heat
My sorrows always taste so sweet
I close my eyes and go off to sleep
As you sow, so shall you reap
The night today is dark and divine
It says I'm yours and you're mine!
I look at the clock, it's half past nine
The dewdrops on the leaves, they shine
Across the street I see a light
The mist and fog obstruct my sight
The stationary clouds move very fast
I leave early to reach the last
I can feel the burning cold breeze
My ribs are broken, it hurts to breathe
I reach the woods, I've lost my way
I think a lot but have nothing to say
The spirits slowly sing a song
I'm chased by them, its been so long
The sky has turned purple and pink
I close my eyes, they start to blink
I weep and cry
I fail and try
And ultimately I succeed
A little love is all we need
